Anna Koukolová / apartment Molochov
“Molochov is a popular name for a functionalist block of thirteen luxury tenement houses in Prague's Letná district with a view of Prague Castle and Letná Plain. The name "Molochov" appears as early as the time of construction in 1937, the origin of the name probably stems from the pejorative description of this massive building (from the word moloch) by construction workers. The building was completed in 1938. Since 1964 the building has been protected as a monument.” (Anna Koukolová)
